Mamma Mia To Showcase For Children In Need!

Mamma Mia The Musical is to celebrate moving to its new home at the Novello Theatre with a special gala performance in support of Children In Need on September 12th.

Taking place less than a week after the long running show moves from the Prince of Wales theatre where it has been playing for over 13 years, the gala performance will include special guest appearances by BBC Radio 2 presenters Anneka Rice, Vanessa Feltz, and Penny Smith, alongside a celebrity audience.

Judy Craymer’s popular stage show features songs by legendary Swedish pop group ABBA and tells the story of 20 year old Sophie who attempts to find out the true identity of her father before she gets married.

Mamma Mia is the Greek island set-family story features classic songs including Dancing Queen, Knowing Me, Knowing You, S.O.S and Take A Chance On Me, and currently stars Sally Ann Triplett as Sophie’s mother Donna, who finds herself in a rather complicated situation when three of her former boyfriends unexpectedly turn up on the island at the same time
