The majority of West End shows will be keeping their curtains down on Friday
July 27th, as the Olympics Opening Ceremony takes centre stage in the capital
with only four shows performing that evening.
Some productions have scheduled extra shows on other days before and after the
ceremony but the only shows which still have performances that evening are The
39 Steps, The Hurly Burly Show, The Complete World Of Sports (Abridged) and We Will Rock You, with Chariots Of Fire putting on a matinee at 3pm and Spamalot
having a performance at 5pm.
