Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Freddie Fox two of the most promising rising stars of the west end are to appear alongside Lindsay Duncan and Jeremy Northam in Howard Davies's production of Hay Fever at the Noel Coward Theatre in London from February.
Hay Fever will see Fox play Simon Bliss in Noël Coward's hilarious comedy about a house party at the home of eccentric aging actress Judith Bliss. He has also recently appeared in Cause Celebre and A Flea In Her Ear at the Old Vic since graduating from drama school last year and his screen credits include Any Human Heart, The Shadow Line along with the forthcoming The Mysteries Of Edwin Drood.
Waller-Bridge is currently starring in the new Sky One TV sitcom The Café and her other stage work includes Sixty-Six Books at the Bush theatre and Rope at the Almeida theatre.
The pair joins a cast that already includes Duncan, Northam, Olivia Colman and Kevin McNally. Also now joining them are West End regular Jenny Galloway (Anna Christie, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!), The Bill's Sam Callis and Amy Morgan, who was recently seen in Inadmissible Evidence at the Donmar Warehouse.
Coward's Hay Fever plays at the theatre that bears his name from 9th February to 2nd June, following Million Dollar Quartet, which finishes its run on 14th January 2012.
