Theatre Tickets London have learned that Ruth Jones who co wrote the hit TV show Gavin And Stacey has spoken out to the Evening Standard about the possibility of Gavin and Stacey: The Musical in the near future.

Jones and co-star and co-writer James Corden have reportedly had another Christmas special of the romantic Welsh comedy scrapped by the BBC, are keen to keep the show alive on the West End stage.

Jones was quoted in the Evening Standard saying - "We'd love to do Gavin & Stacey: The Musical.  I know it is something James wants to do too. I saw Billy Elliot on stage the other day and I thought it would be something good to do. It's something I would definitely be up for".
